As we’re in the run up to September, it’s time to start thinking about Autumn and dragging out all the cosy jumpers. Chilling out watching movies or a box set under five blankets will soon be on the agenda. I spend most of my time in cosy clothing and thought I’d share some of my favourite Comfortable Clothing for Men.
Jogging bottoms are perfect for curling up on the sofa. They are soft and flexible. There are plenty of different styles available, so it is not hard to find a pair that you like. As you can see here they are not expensive and. Plus, there is the added bonus that you can also wear them for running or trips to the gym.
Soft cotton tops are ideal for wearing when you are lounging around at home. They are super comfortable and if you choose something made of cotton or another natural fibre your skin will be able to breathe naturally. Long sleeved t-shirts allow you plenty of freedom of movement and keep your body temperature at the right level. It is nice to warm without feeling stuffy and getting dry eyes.
A lightweight jumper or hoodie
If you do get a bit chilly you can always slip on a soft cardigan or jumper. A hoodie is another good alternative. Great for slipping out to put the rubbish out if it is drizzling outside.
Long socks will stop any draughts. Slipper socks are a great alternative. Just be sure to buy the type that has non-slip soles. This is particularly important if you have tiles, lino or wood on your floors.
In the evenings, be ready to switch to your PJs. That way if you catch yourself falling asleep on the sofa, you can slip straight into bed. This is far better than finding yourself tossing and turning because the act of getting changed for bed woke you up too much. This happens to me all too often!
A dressing gown
A soft, fluffy dressing gown is an essential. You can slip it on over either your PJs or another outfit to enjoy a leisurely breakfast while the house warms up. If you like to have a soak in the bath to relax, a towelling robe is an especially good option.
A nice blanket or throw
Last, but by no means least, is a throw or blanket. You can use for an afternoon nap on the sofa or to snuggle up under it watching a movie or reading a book.
