Liverpool is a city I’d love to visit more often. The home of the Beatles, football and brilliant shopping. My first visit to the city was a couple of years ago and what stood out to me was Liverpool ONE which is the main shopping area. There are so many stores and restaurants in Liverpool ONE, I was super impressed and it’s certainly a brilliant destination for a girly shopping day.

Liverpool ONE is certainly a one-stop destination for shopper’s with over 160 shops and boasts two department stores; John Lewis and Debenhams. You can find high street favourites such as Topshop, Zara, Victoria’s Secret & Office on South John Street which is the main high street area. Just around the corner, you can find High-End boutiques on Peter’s Lane, I managed to find a gorgeous pair of shoes from Dune.
If you are a beauty lover, there is no way you can miss out on visiting the Harvey Nichol’s Beauty Bazaar. It’s like nothing I’ve seen before! A whole two story shop dedicated to some of the best beauty brands such as Nars, YSL, Tom Ford, Bobbi Brown and Hourglass. Additionally, if you are looking to get pampered there is also a nails & brow bar, a hair lounge and a spa where you can get facials and other treatments. Basically, it was like heaven. Urban Decay has also just opened their doors to a stand-alone store on South John Street; it’s one of the first outside of London!

There is plenty of restaurants in Liverpool ONE and many of them sit on “The Terrace” which is such a unique area to chill out and I can imagine it been a lovely spot in Summer. There are so many options such as Bill’s, Byron, The Cosy Club, Yard & Coop and Turtle Bay to enjoy a delicious meal after a long day of shopping til’ you drop.
The John Lewis Café is also a good shout if you are wanting a coffee or a light bite. It is also the best place to people watch and see all the coming and goings of Liverpool ONE.
Liverpool ONE is located minutes away from some of the cities top sights such as The Cavern Club; the birthplace of The Beatles, Albert Docks and The Museum of Liverpool. The docks are just over the road from John Lewis and such a lovely area to explore, especially in Summer. I also would recommend visiting the Museum of Liverpool as it’s free. I found it fascinating to learn more about the city.
Liverpool is such a brilliant city and boasts such a fabulous shopping district. I’m really looking forward to visiting Liverpool later this year. I’ll be going to the first British Fashion Collective in Liverpool which was formerly the Clothes Show Live in Birmingham. I’m so interested to see what they do with the show in Liverpool and also explore Liverpool ONE again. I’m hoping to bring my Mum as she’s never been and I know she’d love all the shopping!
Have you been to Liverpool before? Did you go shopping at Liverpool ONE?
