The Best Dressed at the Bafta’s 2017

Last night we had a double whammy on the Awards front with the Bafta’s taking place in London and the Grammy’s in Los Angeles. To be honest, I’m not actually going to do a Grammy’s best-dressed post as I wasn’t too impressed with any looks. Beyoncé, Adele and Jlo all looked incredible but there was a lot of fashion fails. Across the pond, here in the UK was the 70th annual Bafta Awards and there was a few more looks that caught my eye.

Emma Stone in Chanel Couture

It’s safe to say Emma Stone stole the whole night as she won Best Actress for her role as Mia in La La Land which also scooped lots of awards. As soon as I saw Emma, I knew she would make my Best Dressed list in a gorgeous sparkling ensemble by Chanel Couture. She was actually wearing embellished trousers underneath which worked so well yet was something a little different.

Duchess of Cambridge in Alexander McQueen at Bafta's 2017 - Rachel Nicole UK Blogger

The Duchess of Cambridge in Alexander McQueen

The cermony was attended by Prince William and Kate who was wearing a beautiful off the shoulder Alexander McQueen gown. I absolutly love this look and it was a great change to see her hair up in a big bouffant. It really suited her!

Emily Blunt in Alexander McQueen at Bafta's 2017 - Rachel Nicole UK Blogger

Emily Blunt in Alexander McQueen

Emily Blunt was also in Alexander McQueen, a popular choice at the Bafta’s. The embroidered floral detail was very McQueen and Emily looked amazing! I also love her jewellery choice with a large dragonfly ring!

Naomie Harris in Gucci

I know that this won’t be to everyones taste but I truly love Noamie Harris’ gorgeous pleated chiffon gown by Gucci. The pastel shades, ruffles and floral accents just look stunning on her.

Daisy Ridley in Roland Mouret

Star Wars star Daisy Ridley looked effortlessly chic in Roland Mouret and was also dressed for the freezing weather pairing her ensemble with a matching bomber jacket. The burgandy, black and white abstract design stood out on the carpet and her hair and make-up was on point!

Anya Taylor Joy in Gucci

I’m not too sure who Anya Taylor Joy is but she was also rocking bright Gucci look. Similar to Naomi Harris’ gown, it was quite out there but I absolutly loved it! It’s obviously not to everyone’s taste but I think they both took big risks which paid off big time!

I’d love to hear what your favourite looks from the Bafta’s were, did you watch the ceremony?

Some fab outfits! I agree i loved Adele’s outfit, but didn’t see much from the grammy’s. She’s great at dressing for her curvier frame. I love Emma Stone. Duchess of Cambridge – like her outfit most. She’s always incredibly fashionable and elegant x

My favourite was Emma’s especially as it had the embellished trousers underneath which I thought was really different. Daisy’s ruffle dress was gorgeous as well!
