It’s that time of the year again.. Welcome to my 2016 Festive Gift Guide! I thought I’d put all my guides together in one jumbo post so you can get gift ideas for everyone! This post took waaay longer than I thought it would do to put together but it turns out hypothetical shopping takes time! I’ve split the guide into different categories and hopefully I’ve helped with gift ideas for your loved ones or even yourself!
For the Ladies
There seems to be a pink and gold theme going on for the ladies gift guide. I’ve found so many incredible gifts for the ladies this year that it was hard to choose what to include. Oliver Bonas has an amazing selection of items perfect for the home. As always, I’ve included a designer bag but this years is actually a backpack from Kate Spade which I think is adorable. If you are a Disney fan, you much check out the Kate Spade X Minnie Mouse collection and also, the upcoming Disney X Cath Kidston collaboration (in-stores 3rd December).
For something a little unique, Red Letter Days have an array of different experiences from spa days, afternoon tea or weekend aways. There is literally something for everyone on the website, not just the ladies. I’ve been scrolling on the website for ages and I think riding a hot air balloon has gone on my wishlist!
For the Beauty Lovers
When I’m doing my gift guides, the beauty lovers section is always my favourite. It’s also the most dangerous, as I always see my Christmas list double in size! The dreamiest sets always pop up around the Christmas season (Hello, Ambient Lighting Edit!) and it’s also the perfect time to maybe pop a couple of higher end items that you wouldn’t usually splurge on yourself. I’ve found some amazing Christmas exclusives such as the NYX Liquid Lip Vault and the Nars Lip Pencil Collection. The Too Faced Christmas collection is also on point this year!
I’ve also been loving the beauty offerings in Boots this Christmas, I’m so happy to see that Sleek make-up have brought out some amazing gift sets. These include their highly raved about Solstice Palette and their Matte Me lipsticks; Both on my Christmas list!
Is it just me that thinks that Men can be quite difficult to buy for? I guess you can’t go wrong with some skincare items from Kiehl’s or even a bottle of Whisky. The latest gadgets such as a games console or the Go Pro Hero 5 could be a good shout!
A really interesting gift I’ve added to my guide for him is the electric bike. I wasn’t really familiar with these but I’m completely fascinated with them now. Fenetic Wellbeing* has a range of electric bikes which can be folded away with stylish light frames so they are great for storing in small spaces such as car boots or even on trains. Not only can they be used like a normal bike, they still have the power capabilities to be ridden in full electric mode with no peddling necessary needed! Pretty cool, right? It actually sounds like my kind of bike! Prices start from £580 and more information can be found here.
For The Little Ones
A new addition to my Gift Guide is buying for the little ones in the family. There has been a few new arrivals in my family and friends this year and buying for little ones is actually so much fun. I’m no expert when it comes to the latest toys although I hear that Furby’s are making a comeback. How crazy is that? It’s so easy to get carried away, especially when it comes to Disney gifts.
I Just Love It have some great personalised Disney Gifts from dolls, placemats and photo frames. They currently have a pretty cool Disney Quiz where if you submit your score you receive a discount code. I hate to brag but I’m basically the queen of this Quiz… 20 out of 20!
Finally, we are on to the Stocking Fillers. Apart from the emergency beer glass, this is pretty much looking like my Christmas wishlist. I’m not going to lie the Saint Laurent Card Holder is screaming my name so I had to include it somewhere. I’m also loving the brand Ban.do for stationary and how cute is this diary?! You can find more stationary here and here. I’ve also discovered a brand called Kikki.K who recently opened a store in Covent Garden. They also sell such dreamy stationary perfect for stocking fillers!
I’m currently restraining myself in the Black Friday/Cyber Weekend sales as I’ve done most of my Christmas shopping now! I’d love to hear what is on your Christmas lists this year and if anything from my gift guide has helped you or taken you fancy. Do you find Christmas shopping for others easy?
