I’ve officially caught the travel bug. I’m constantly looking at flights and checking out online deals to go literally anywhere. At the beginning of the year, I set myself a pretty unrealistic goal to visit six new countries but in actual fact, I’ve been on six incredible trips this year and I’ve visited three new countries (Monaco, Holland & Germany).
I have a huge list of places I’d love to visit, it keeps getting longer. I’m always pretty ambitious with my goals but I thought I’d put together a list of four places I’d love to visit this Winter (or the near future). I’d be pretty pleased if I visited just one of these destinations.
The ultimate destination for winter. The child in me is screaming to book at trip to Lapland to visit Santa Claus and meet his elves & reindeers. I believe you can even take day trips over to Finland from the UK although I’d probably want to stick around on the off chance of seeing the Northern Lights.
Probably the most realistic option from this list is Copenhagen. With flights from around £18 return, it’s hard to turn your nose up at that price. Copenhagen is just one of those cities that is just cool, you know what I mean? As I’m a total typical tourist, I’d have to check out the little mermaid statue.
Yes, Vegas is tacky but is there anywhere in the world like it? One of the main reasons I want to go to Vegas in the very near future is to see Britney Spears. I’m not even a massive fan of her’s but I think it would be great to go see her in Vegas. According to her Wikipedia, she only signed until May 2017. That’s not long to go so I best get cracking and book those flights asap.
I can’t make a list of places I want to visit without including a Disney related destination. I’ve recently warmed up to the idea of going on a cruise. It’s a great way to visit lot’s of different destinations in a short period. There are so many options, I’ve been looking for deals with Iglu Cruises who actually have some great deals for the Disney Cruise. The cruise I’d love to do visits Castaway Cay, The Bahamas and includes a stay at Walt Disney World.
Where would you like to visit this Winter? Do you prefer colder destinations or winter sun?
